What we look at in your application.

No rigid follower minimum: we look at quality, consistency and authenticity first.

Content creators

Digital criteria
  • Active account for ≥ 6 months on at least one platform
  • Engaged community (engagement rate > 3% ideally)
  • Beauty, makeup, lifestyle or afro hair content
  • Mostly French-speaking OR qualified international audience
  • Curated and consistent editorial line

Pro Makeup Artists

Pro criteria
  • Registered MUA activity (SIRET, freelance or agency-employed)
  • Portfolio showing work on deep complexions
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience recommended
  • Field: bridal, editorial, runway, production, set
  • References or recommendations welcome

What is the difference with the Affiliate program?

The Affiliate program is open to any qualified platform and performance-driven (15% commission via a tracked link). The Ambassador program is more selective: it is built for content creators and pro makeup artists, and includes PR boxes, masterclasses, shoots, events and co-creation.

Is there a minimum follower count to apply?

No. We look at quality, engagement, editorial consistency and alignment with NEW BLACK. A small but highly engaged and aligned community is worth far more than a large generic audience.

I am a makeup artist with little social presence. Can I still apply?

Yes, absolutely. For the Makeup Artist profile, what matters is the portfolio, professional experience and work on deep complexions. An Instagram account is a plus but not required.

Am I paid?

Creators: 10% commission on every order placed with your promo code. MUA: backstage rate at -40%, gifted pro kit and additional fees on NB shoots and masterclasses. Everything is framed by contract.

What level of engagement is expected?

For creators: minimum 2 pieces of content per month featuring NEW BLACK. For MUAs: integrating the range into your pro kit and crediting our products on your content. Initial 12-month commitment, renewable.

Can I work with other brands?

Yes, as long as they are not a direct competitor in premium afro makeup. We ask for category exclusivity, not full exclusivity.
